BIO

Rosing's exhibition record includes numerous solo and group exhibitions across the United States, Germany, Japan, and China. Themes of transformation and change, are explored using water as a metaphor for life in her abstract, symbolic paintings.

For over 15 years, Rosing has taught studio art courses, at universities, colleges and art centers in the Chicago area and in Madison, Wisconsin. She holds an MFA in Painting & Drawing from Northern Illinois University-DeKalb.

Rosing's work in the non-profit arts sector includes two years as Exhibition Curator and Vice-President of A.R.C. Gallery/Educational Foundation in Chicago. In 1995, she represented A.R.C. Gallery on a panel of artists at the NGO Forum of the United Nations Fourth World Conference on Women in Beijing (Huairou,) China.

Rosing was born and raised in Appleton, Wisconsin. Prior to moving to Madison, Wisconsin where she currently lives and maintains her studio, Rosing lived and worked in Denver and Chicago.
